L’Acadèmia Nacional de Ciències dels Estats Units ha publicat el llibre Science, Evolution, and Creationism, amb la idea de potenciar i justificar amb arguments científics l’evolució en front el creacionisme.  L’Acadèmia Nacional de Ciències i  l’Institut de Medicina han aplegat diversos científics per a que mostrin diferents arguments a favor de l’evolució biològica i analitzin les opcions que ofereixen els diferents moviments creacionistes.
